The Flash Flood Watch continues for * Portions of CENTRAL ARKANSAS, NORTH CENTRAL ARKANSAS, and WESTERN ARKANSAS, including the following areas, in CENTRAL ARKANSAS, Conway, Faulkner, Garland, Lonoke, Perry, Pope, Pulaski, Saline, White, and Yell. In NORTH CENTRAL ARKANSAS, Baxter, Boone, Cleburne, Fulton, Independence, Izard, Marion, Newton, Searcy, Sharp, Stone, and Van Buren. In WESTERN ARKANSAS, Johnson, Logan, Montgomery, Polk, and Scott. * From this evening through Sunday morning * Several rounds of showers and thunderstorms are expected expected across northwest and central Arkansas late Friday night through Sunday morning. Some of this precipitation will be heavy. Storm total rainfall amounts of 3 to 6 inches are expected through Sunday morning. * Low-lying and urban areas will be the first to flood. If you have plans to camp across Arkansas this weekend, do not camp in low-lying areas or near dry creek beds, and make sure you have a way to receive weather warnings. Flash flooding will be likely in the terrain of the Ouachita and Ozark Mountain areas.
